pc connection problem

I installed new system update 2.1 on my Playbook yesterday. I can't connect it by PC now. I use it as a storage of data, so I can't access my university assignment. It is another brilliant work of Blackberry Playbook, I deeply regret I bought it. Development services rubbish, sometimes I can't restart Playbook,  connection to PC rubbish ( no mass storage ) . Very little amount of application android working announced for Playbook 2.0 didn't bring any applications boom. Blackberry announced new orientation to end users half year ago, now they have changed their mind and say business customers. No compatibility between current mobile phone systems and playbook system. Generally my first and last Blackberry device. Hopefully I will be able to get my files from device and buy better one.

Re: pc connection problem

Carefully read the instructions on the playbook screen when you plug it into the pc - the drivers must be installed again and they are located on the playbook.

Re: PC connection problem

Hi

I've just bought a playbook which upgraded to 2.1 when I set it up.

I have not been able to connect properly to my W7 PC

You are not on your own. This is not good.

Same problems

Any way of going back to 2.0?

Sure you don't mean 2.0.1?  unless i missed the announcement 2.1 is a beta version and may not  work with current desktop

Re: PC connection problem

windows 7 will need time to install the drivers

Do you have an olde version of Device Manager on it? remove that old version and connect playbook again but give it some time to install drivers
