Re: playbook browser crashes

Please provide additional details. I believe I know what's going on:

Include:

  • Battery level
  • Wifi was on/off or got disconnected when you tried to use the shotlink
  • Are you using 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB device?
  • How many tabs did you have open in the browser?
  • What link from the pgatour.com did you click that got  you to that page

Do you play golf?

I will try to replicate your issue and find a resolution.

Re: playbook browser crashes

battery was full

using wifi never went off - just crashes out everytime I load shotlink

64gb device

this was only tab open

 http://www.pgatour.com/shottracker/

loads most of page - then crashes out - I've restarted 5 times

http://www.pgatour.com/r/leaderboard/

above link has + to left of each player to add to favorites - that link doesn't work

Re: playbook browser crashes

I have a similar problem. but my issue occurs with more web sites...such as cnn.com, engadget.com, wsj.com. only site that doesn't crash so far is google.com.

when i go to the rim.com site, it constantly blinks?  i also tried the same web sites with the flash turned off with same results.

my colleague who has the same device has no such issues.

my device:

16GB

partially charged (plugged into a usb charger)

only tab open at time for each issue

[ Edited ]

Same problem with me

The browser crashes when I try to open www.ehow.com

Sometimes it returns a black screen after which I am forced to restart.

Battery usage : 46%

Only one tab open

32GB version

I even tried re-installing the OS. But no use. I bought in US but using it in India.
