Re: playbook charging from flat no red lights

I understand your frustration as I also felt the same. But do try stack charge, it's not that complicated. It simply means to charge it for x minutes, then remove the charger, then charge it again for x minutes etc(repeat the process 10 times or so).

please read my post to see if it helps:

Re: playbook charging from flat no red lights

Thank you so much for the advice, so far it worked.. It is now charging and on.... I have always turned it off to charge but what i am reading is that to leave it on while it charges??? Is this correct? I have had it for 4 months and it always seemed to charge while off but I did notice that it wasn't holding a charge for as long as it use to. Again thank you for the advice Smiley Happy

Re: playbook charging from flat no red lights

I usually charge it when it's on. When it's on, I can see how fast it charges(increase in the % at the battery symbol at the top right corner of the screen).

But i think charging also works when it's off.

I've had the playbook for 6 months, and i do feel that it is taking longer to charge.

Re: playbook charging from flat no red lights

all sorted the solution was quite simple, do nothing, just leave the playbook alone for 24 hours NOT pluged in the the rapid charger then after 24 hrs plug it in to the charger and hey presto thanks guys for all the advice you have given me over the past few days
