reading books on Playbook

I have loaded books on pc from calibre and put it epub format.  The problem is I don't understand how to get them on to Playbook to be able to read.  Hope someone can help me. Thanks

Re: reading books on Playbook

If you can connect your computer by cable or wifi to your PB, you should be able to transfer the file onto the PB. You will have to find the shared folder on your PB by using the file manager in PB. I use Files and Folders App to view all the PB files. Have a look.

Re: reading books on Playbook

you did connect your playbook with a usb cable to your pc, didn't you? there should be a pop-up on your computer, saying your playbook had been connected (you may have to enter your password). after that, the playbook is just like an external drive. go to 'Computer' on your PC and check if the playbook is there or not. if yes, you can drag your files into the corresponding folders. i don't know about your file format though

Re: reading books on Playbook

yeah, then i can think of two possibilities:

1) it should be the documents folder, not books

2) the file type cannot be read. then you could try if you can convert your files into sth like pdf. or look in app world if there's an app that can read your file type

Re: reading books on Playbook

actually, i have no idea why you would get that error :/. if i were you, i'd try those apps (the ones for free first) and see what they suggest. elsewise i could imagine the files you got from calibri were broken to begin with though that's unlikely
