110 responses during registration

I have been using Simon hains example to implement push notifications however I have ran into a problem that has left me stumped for days. After trawling this forum I still cannot get registration on my device to work.

This is from the first response string:

The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://cp####.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com/mss/PD_subReg?

Connection to failed.

The system returned: (110) Connection timed out

The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

Your cache administrator is ...

In my evaluation push details I have a 4 digit CPID. I have tried the following URL's to register: http://cp####.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com , after reading here there may be a problem I tried http://cp###.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com with the first 3 digits of my CPID however with the same result. And finally tried http://pushapi.eval.blackberry.com in various attempts after reading those details had worked for other users previously.

Am I missing something completely obvious? Or could there be something wrong with the details I have been using?

Re: 110 responses during registration

Just for sanity sake can you ensure that you are trying to subscribe/register from a real BB device that has BIS service books

Re: 110 responses during registration

The device registers to BIS ok (as far as I am aware). After checking with my provider the plan on this SIM has blackberry services enabled. I have "5 Click BISClientConfig [BISClientConfig]" Is there any other specific books I need specifically?
