Connection Refused error - Sending push notifications to the MDS Simulator

Hi,

For testing purposes, I'm trying to send a push notification to my MDS simulator, and am getting a "Connection refused: connect" error. I'm using BES, not BIS.

I have included my PAP message format below.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Talha

To add to my previous post, this is the body of my HTTP request:

body="Content-Type: application/xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <pap><push-message source-reference="AAAAAAAAAAAAA" deliver-before-timestamp="2010-09-31T13:30:00Z" ppg-notify-requested-to="http://localhost:7081/company/channel/bes_response" push-id="99999999"><address address-value="PIN00001"/><address address-value="PIN00002"/><address address-value="PIN00003"/><quality-of-service delivery-method="confirmed"/></push-message></pap>Content-Type: text/html

Re: Connection Refused error - Sending push notifications to the MDS Simulator

The default port used by the MDS-CS Simulator to receive pushes is 8080, however you are pushing to port 7081.
