Could not resolve placeholder

I have downloaded and installed the BlackBerry Push Service SDK v1.0 and replaced all occurrences of ${application.ID} with ${XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX} using the appId BlackBerry sent me. I have double checked the IP address I submitted is correct.

But I get the following errors when starting Tomcat:

ERROR - [org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoader.initWebApplicationContext()] - Context initialization failed
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Invalid bean definition with name 'registerListeners' defined in class path resource [sample-app-context.xml]: Could not resolve placeholder 'XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'

(the same for acknowledgement-context.xml and sample-app-context.xml)

I can start Tomcat and confirm it's working by visiting https://localhost:8443/ (where I see a success message), but I get a 404 when I try to open https://localhost:8443/sample-app/

My knowledge of Tomcat and Java is pretty much zero.....

Re: Could not resolve placeholder

I think it's because you replaced${application.id} with ${xxxx-xxxxxxxx} - remove the dollar sign and curly braces, those are part of the token instead just have xxxx-xxxxxxxx.
