Does the "push port" value have any use in BlackBerry 10

I've just got my first pushes going through BIS, using a home-brewed push initiator and a simple BlackBerry 10 app (using Cascades). No real problems there.

My question is what is the purpose of the "push port" which is listed in my Push Service Evaluation Credentials email, under "Configuration properties for the push-enabled application (client application)"

I haven't used that value in any part of my code. Is it only for BBOS apps, or is it only for BES10 or BDS situations?  Or is it now obsolete and they just haven't taken it out of the emails?

The port is only used in BBOS apps, in BB10 the port is all handled "behind the scenes", so you don't need to hard code any port values.

Goodbye everybody!
