i already have installed my server, with a static IP, i can browse it from the web, but when i'm registering the device app with the server, it shows the follow error inside de log:
"Content Provider network command [Subscribe] failed, caused by could not connect to my_ip_server:8443"
this is the way i set the my app to register
Port: the port send by RIM
App ID: the id send by RIM
BPAS URL: http://pushapi.eval.blackberry.com
Content Provider URL: https://my_ip_server:8443/debug-portal
if i copy de URL send by the app, "i copy that from the log", and paste it in the browser "Google Chrome" the registration is succesfully, but from the device it show the error above.
this is the info copy from the log of the push device app.
this returns RC=200
m.d.s-p.u.b.l.i.c = quit the dots, i put this way because the normal way don’t let me the forum post
when i look into the database the user is registered in the bpss_push_suscriber table.
with this info
'4', 'juan', 'App_ID', 'pin_of_juan', 'ACTIVE', '220.127.116.111', '9700', '2011-03-02 14:40:46', NULL, NULL, NULL, '0'
if i browse to https://my_ip_server:8443/debug-portal/subscriber_
it shows me that
Subscriber query results
Subscriber ID Address Status
juan pin_of_juan ACTIVE
he is active, so i try to send him a push message from: https://my_ip_server:8443/debug-portal/push.do
i put the pin of juan that i have registered but, it returns the follow error
Push id Code Description
15001 2002 The address specified was not in a recognized format or was not valid or unknown (i.e Not subscribed).
22f0a93c does not exist

And you are certain your device has BIS-B service books?
The certificate is invalid but that's ok. When you register using the sample application from the device it will prompt you saying the certificate is invalid and give you the option to 'Continue'.
The fact that you can hit that URL from your browser means you have the SDK setup correctly on the server-side. Can you try hitting that URL from the browser on your device?

I Have the same error as you, did you find something ?
I don't think the problem came from the service book.
