In trying to use the BIS Push Essentials in production mode I get the subject error. All I did however was change the credentials supplied from my evaluation to production credentials.
Why would this error occur?

Yes it is just as I suspected the server is down...
I reverted back to the evaluation service and was able to send a push notification.
I note that While I WAS using the new EVALUATION CREDENTIALS on the SERVER... I was using the PRODUCTION CREDENTIALS on the CLIENT...
Can someone from RIM explain this scenario
