Re: Is BIS support Browser push

I read from http://us.blackberry.com/developers/browserdev/Web_Signals_for_BlackBerry_Smartphones_Technical_Over...

web siganls support broswer coontent push, it is Blackberry Internet Service(BIS) feature.
You have to register web signals from
https://www.blackberry.com/websignals

Does RIM still support this feature?

Web Signals reached End Of Life a while back, these pages should have been taken off-line, I will let the web teams know.

Re: Is BIS support Browser push

So, only way to do Browser push is Blackberry the Enterprise server with MDS application? I am very interesting Browser push with BIS, why RIM stop this feature? this is better feature than Ihpone push and android C2MD push.

Why not create an app that launches to a web page? If you want to incorporate Push to update the URL then this is still possible using BIS push.

Re: Is BIS support Browser push

The reason is that by now there a lot of applications can be installed for blackberry smartphone, some of them contain spyware, the user scare to install it. secondary reason is that push can be done without client side installation is light and nice feature.

Thanks you very much for your help

I have done push to application with RIM assigned application ID. I am looking for user push subscribe/unsubscribe c # source code, Do you have sample source code ?
Thanks again.
