Does anyone know how to show the notification badge on the top of our app icon. It is that small star indicator when we receive any updates.
I was not able to find any document related to it.

You need to set this up your self. You can do this using the HomeScreen class and access the method updateIcon(Bitmap newicon) Documentation is at http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.5.0api

I'll actually be working on a method to draw the a number with the red circle on the icon. I'm still messing around with it but I'll post some code for you.
