Notification badge

Does anyone know how to show the notification badge on the top of our app icon. It is that small star indicator when we receive any updates.

I was not able to find any document related to it.

Re: Notification badge

You need to set this up your self. You can do this using the HomeScreen class and access the method updateIcon(Bitmap newicon) Documentation is at http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.5.0api/net/rim/blackberry/api/homescreen/HomeScreen.html...)

Thank you so much!

Just for reference,

 Bitmap icon = Bitmap.getBitmapResource("test.png");

net.rim.blackberry.api.homescreen.HomeScreen.updateIcon(icon);

Re: Notification badge

I'll actually be working on a method to draw the a number with the red circle on the icon. I'm still messing around with it but I'll post some code for you.
