Push Plus Status Query Error ... Not Working

We registered to the blackberry push plus service and got an App ID: XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXX

When trying to request the push status documented in http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/25167/Code_sample_status_query_604357_11.jsp

we are receiving the following:

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<!DOCTYPE pap PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD PAP 2.1//EN" "http://www.openmobilealliance.org/tech/DTD/pap_2.1.dtd">

<pap>

<statusquery-response push-id="1351704757383.84">

<statusquery-result event-time="2012-10-31T15:25:22Z" message-state="unknown" code="2001" desc="The request was refused. Status Query is not supported by your Push Service.">

</statusquery-result>

</statusquery-response>

</pap>

What can be the problem behind it?

We are using the https://cpXXXX.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com

Re: Push Plus Status Query Error ... Not Working

When you signed up to use BlackBerry Push Service you chose to use Push Essentials rather than Push Plus. Status Query is only available with the Push Plus service tier.

Re: Push Plus Status Query Error ... Not Working

Hey Marco, when we signed up to use blackberry push service we chose to use Push Plus not Essential and we received an email from Blackberry part saying that we are successfully subscribed to PLUS push ... with the appropriate app ID and password that we used right in our request

Humm that is odd. Can you contact blackberrypushservices@rim.com to get this resolved? Perhaps your account wasn't setup properly.
