What is BPAS?

Hi all,

Need your help!

I have started to investigate BlackBerry Push Service SDK... and there is a sample application. It's client-side have setting called BPAS. As I understood this abbreviation stands for BlackBerry Push API Server. Can please someone explain what it does? And does BPAS have any relation to BIS? Haven't found any detailed info in documentation.

Thanks in advance!

Your application then acts upon the PN
