can BES sample code be used for BIS

Is this method the same for BIS? 

 

The post seems to be OUTDATED...can anyone confirm the BIS methodology here?

No. BIS uses a PAP XML interface. There are lots of posts with info and sample code in this forum. And if you are a Java developer you have the SDK which gives you low and high level APIs to help you build a push initiator
