10.2 Lock screen timeout

Hello folks,

In settings, the longest period I have available is 5min. Is there a way to increase that?

No, that's the longest there is.

Anything longer you will being to see noticeable battery life issues if you leave the screen on ALL of the time.

Re: 10.2 Lock screen timeout

To bad - and I wouldn't mind extra battery usage during "critical" use. Just leave it up to the user... "At their own risks"

I actually found an external USB battery pack about the size of the Q10 to compensate for it's poor battery life.

I'm thinking of making a custom case that holds the two together. I survived the first Nokia bricks - A double stack Q10 is still smaller than those monsters.

You ought to look at the Battery Charger Bundle for the Q10.

Q10 battery life has been great for me.

Thanks for the suggestion - My Q10 is burried in a Otter box and taking the battery in and out wouldn't be practical.
Plus the external battery pack found was about the same price and size of this charger and can hold at least 4 full charges (equivalent of 4 Q10 batteries)

Now I'm curious. There is not much specs on your charger. Do you know if once the battery is charged, it can be used as an external pack? (plugging the USB port in the phone as available extra power)

Re: 10.2 Lock screen timeout

Unless your Otterbox conceals the USB port on the Q10, the charger bundle simply connects via USB to the Q10, and boosts the battery AND you can plug your external charger into the battery bundle to charge both at the same times.

You don't remove the battery on the Q10.

From the linked Amazon review:  Power Source [Wall Socket] ---> Charger Bundle ---> Phone

Re: 10.2 Lock screen timeout

I'll rephrase - Can this unit be used to charge the BB with only the external battery as a power source?

(not plugged to a wall socket)
