BlackBerry Calendar issue

i'm having problems with the calendar app. When I create an event, it won't show up on the day, week or month view but if I search for the event it'll be there. I've updated all my software to the latest versions but that doesn't seem to have helped in any way. It's very frustrating as I can't see if I have any meetings scheduled & tasks I need to do.

 

Also my calendar isn't synced to any other calendar so that's shouldn't be causing the issue.

 

Can anyone else help with this issue?

Welcome to the forums.

 

Have a look at the following article which may help you out with your issue. 

 

Calendar entries are not displayed or disappear from the BlackBerry smartphone

 

If you do not wish to perform the workaround listed in the article then you can contact your mobile service provider and have them escalate your issue to BlackBerry support for investigation.

Thanks for the response.

 

I've tried the security wipe & that hasn't worked. If any other solution comes up i'd really appreciate if you could let me know.

You probably have multiple calendar

 

So your calendar entry is probably saved into another calendar which is not shown in your default calender

 

That is why you can search for it, but you cannot see it.

 

First, set your default calendar

Then try to make entry, if you selected 'Home' as default, a new entry will show you if you like it to be 'Home' or 'Outlook' or something else if you added more accounts

yeah i thought that may be the issue but the problem is I only have 1 calendar set on the device. All events are entered under the default calandar (home) & are not linked to any other calendar so I don't think that is the problem.

 

I just tried your tip but I'm still having the same issue, it doesn't look like it solved the problem.

 

Any outher thoughts?
