BlackberryQ10 and Blackberry Desktop Redirector

Hello, Today I'm using a Blackberry Bold 9900 with 7.1 OS.  In the company I work, I install Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0.1.18 and I also use Blackberry Desktop Redirector 3.6.0.70 in order to receive my e-mail.  I choose this configuration in order to keep all control of my BB.  In fact, we have Blackberry Entreprise server but I do not want to loose some application such GPS as it's a choise from our IT department.

Question : I just buy a Blackberry Q10, is there a way to continue with this configuration ?

thanks for your answer

Re: BlackberryQ10 and Blackberry Desktop Redirector

Desktop Manager is not compatible with the Q10 and Redirector is no longer supported.

Contact your IT department since the BES for the Q10 is different than the BES for older devices. On BES10 you can have BB Balance where you have a personal side and a work side. Does your company have BES10? If not, then you can connect via ActiveSync just like iPhones and Androids do.

Re: BlackberryQ10 and Blackberry Desktop Redirector

Well I don't think my company has BES10.  If I use active sync, I will receive my e-mail like today with Blackberry Desktop Redirector ?

Thanks a lot for your help

Re: BlackberryQ10 and Blackberry Desktop Redirector

if you use Active Sync your device will mirror the mail server. When you go to the Account setup page on the BB10 device touch the "Advanced" button on the bottom and then choose ActiveSync. You will need your server information so you may need to talk to your IT department. It should set up the same as any iPhone or Android device.
