Can't Finish My Work With A Q10

Hello everyone

i am having an issue with my blackberry q10

the worst of it is that this issue is affecting my work

 

when i go to PHONE

everything freez

if i receive a phone call, the phone freez when i try to slide to answer so i cant answer

if i am making a phone call, the phone freez and i cant complete the phone call

if i am moving from call log to contacts to search for a contact to make an outgoing call, the phone freez

the freez only happens in PHONE (where you make calls and where you find the call log and where you type a number to call)

 

 

i have the latest version of Blackberry OS 10.2.0.429

the available storage in the phone is 10.3 GB, i used only 5.7 GB out of 16 GB so the phone is not full of apps/pics/vids/music, very few apps, only necessary ones, not even facebook or twitter or insta or anything like this, i made this phone only for business and the data i have are only important business data.

Use an app like InTouch Contacts from BlackBerry App World and backup your contacts.

 

Then, delete all contacts from the device.

Reboot and check if your phone calls and all else work with no contacts.


If so, try now restoring your contacts to the device and test again.

i restored the phone

wiped all data

now it works great

but it dosnt mean anything to me if it works great without contacts

it dosnt mean anything to me if it works without email accounts

i didnt bring it to look at it only

i bought it as a business phone, to fill it with contacts and emails

 

so i tried to RESTORE MY BACKUP

and of course it didnt work

because i cannot restore my backup and thats not the first time i cant restore blackberry backup, this is all the time happening

it says restore cancelled

error

and again just to mention

i did setup everything from the start

everything

and i have setup the contacts again

once i got all the contacts done

the phone started to do the same thing as before

so it was all a waste of time

a waste of my backup

and thats BLACKBERRY 

a WASTE OF TIME

How *do* you delete all contacts from a Blackberry 10 Device, anyway?

I tried InTouch contacts but I can't find a way to tell it to stop syncing or to

clear out the contacts stored on the server either.

oddiofile, that depends on how those contacts were put on the device. If they sync via an email account, remove that email account.
If they are "Local" contacts saved on the device:
On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
Tap Settings > Accounts.
Tap .
Tap Clear Local Contacts.
