Contact icon and Phone icon contacts not syncing

I am having an issue where my contacts from the contact icon is not appearing on the phone icon when I try to make a call. So when I try to look up a contact from the phone icon, it's not showing up. Only select contacts without a picture is showing. It's very arbitrary, but I am not sure why it does this. Anyone know what I should do or any settings I need to perform??

Thank you for your question regarding the contacts on your BlackBerry Q10 smartphone.

 

To clarify - Are you unable to see any contacts when selecting the Phone icon then tapping Contacts at the bottom? What happens when you type in the search field at the top?

I am only able to see the contacts without a picture or not liked to FB, Twitter, Linkedin, etc. That's to say only contacts entered directly into my BlackBerry will appear under the Phone icon contacts. All others are under the Contact icon.

When I type in the search field under the Phone icon, nothing is showing up. So to call a contact not appearing under the Phone icon, I need to go to the Contacts icon and call the contact from there.

Have you tried reinserting your battery as a test and verified that your software is up to date via System Settings - Software updates?
