Custom ringtone not used

as long as there is no call blocker available for the Q10, I created an entry in Contacts for an annoying caller and assigned a silence soundfile (1sec silence). I tried this by assigning the ringtone to my deskphone and could confirm that is works - in theory.

But I still hear the normal ringtone when this caller calls. Why?

I can see for quite a while the phone number before the phone shows the name (and pic) from Contacts.

Can this be related (i.e. when the phone starts ringing, it couldn't identify the contact and therefore uses the default).

But if this is the case - why does it happen? The phone number shown is exactly the phone number I have in Contacts (not additional or missing country code).

In Contacts I only have assigned a company name and not first- or lastname. Can this cause any issues (but it didn't when I tried it from my deskphone which phone numner is also associated with 'company name' only entry).

Any thoughts?
