Duplicate calendars

I used the BB smart app to transfer data from my 9700 to the Q10. The setup is correct for sync which works fine for gmail and gcal BUT I have two entries which seem to be a local and a gcal calendar. How do I remove the local calendar? I also had a crash with calendar refusing to do anything and only fixed by the dreaded battery out fix of old. Any ideas? As a comment many things are slow to react and you wonder if you have pressed the darned button. E.g. End call!

Re: Duplicate calendars

I could not see this but found another route.

In calendar pull down settings but then select Manage NOT settings and each calendar can be selected.

BTW this text prediction is fantastic!

Re: Duplicate calendars

Hmm. I have 10.1.0.238 and there is no sign of these dots.

As I said there is the alternative but confusing options of settings and manage.

Re: Duplicate calendars

Correct, in your main settings, I never said in your calendar settings.

Open your Settings > Accounts.

Touch the overflow three dots icon at lower right > Clear Local Calendar.

Re: Duplicate calendars

i have had a level 2 person supposed to call me within 24-48 hours for 12 days.  i have 6 calendar posts on this q-10 and everyone keeps telling me it is OUTLOOK causing it.  NOW THEY HAVE JUST HUNG UP ON ME.  THEY KEEP SAYING THEY HAVE TO GATHER INFORMATION (6 TIMES NOW) IN ORDER TO MAKE A TICKET TO FORWARD TO THIS IMAGINARY LEVEL 2 PERSON THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE AT AND DEFINITELY NO SUPERVISORS.  SO, I AM GOING WWW TO SEE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME.  I BOUGHT THE Q10 TO SYNC WITH OUTLOOK AS THEY SAID 'YES IT WILL!!'  WELL I DIDN'T KNOW IT WOULD AND GIVE ME 6 OF THE SAME EVENTS ON MY CALENDAR.  YOU ALL HAVE MY E-MAIL AND MY TICKET NUMBER IS 27568985 AND THAT IS IF YOU ARE EVEN KEEPING TRACK OF THE 6 TIMES I HAVE CALLED TO NO AVAIL.
