Email stuck in outbox and lost contacts

I tried to send an email from bbq10 this morning and it is stuck in my outbox. Tried to delete it however it is still there with that "clock" beside. Received error message that my email was to large in my yahoo account on desktop but not receiving any emails in my bb. Also, since then, my contacts have all disappeared. When I try to go into account settings it simply says "accounts loading" with that circle that floats round and round however nothing happens . I think the two issues are linked / how do I fix?

Large email signatures and multi-reply emails are the culprits!

I fixed mine by realizing I was sending an email with all of the previous emails - and massive signatures with pictures and graphics - included. This was too large a file for my BlackBerry to send and so the email just sat there.

To fix: Start a new email chain. Avoid too many large signatures within each email.
