I can't express how disappointed I am with my Q10. My Blackberry progression is that I started with a Pearl 8100, moved to a Curve 8520, then to a Torch 9800, lastly before the Q10 I had a Bold 9900. At each upgrade prior to this one I was pleased with the improvements and happy with the new device.....not this time. Everything seems harder and more "labor intense" to do the same things. Why should I have to touch the phone icon, touch the dialing pad icon, then hold down the number "5" to speed dial the selected number....why not just hold down the "5" as on the Bold?? Maybe I am missing something....maybe a lot. And then there is the calendar....black background with no options to change it to white. What was wrong with a white background and black numbers? Apparently there is some upgrade which makes the background white...but with grey numbers....still hard to see from what I can read. And lastly....I miss my trackpad.....it made life easier for me at least!!

Keep in mind that due to the Q's screen technology (super AMOLED), it makes more sense to use black backgrounds where possible to conserve battery life. This is not an LCD screen like many other phones have, this is super AMOLED which uses much less battery. I guarantee you won't get half the battery life on your 9900 that you'll get on your Q10. Yes, it takes getting used to but I'm glad I hung in there and got the hang of it. I'll never go back now that I've mastered BB10.
