Beta, could you try with another sim, same or another supplier? For a day or so, just to see if the phone will behave different. Sometimes a faulty sim can cause issues.

Hi Kosten4 I just changed the Sim about 2 weeks ago on advice from my carrier so it's a brand new SIM.

And it's not the carrier b/c I switched to my Samsung Mega for about a week or too and didn't have any of these problems...but when I come back to my Q10 same thing happens

Are you doing a restore every time? Could be a corrupted back up. Try wiping you phone/ do a back up just in case/ and use it for a bit.

I'm ashamed to say that I haven't backed up my phone until last week so I don't think it's a corrupted back up.

Prior to changing Sim I did a wipe and used it for a day or so fine...then it started up again.

If your upgrades are automatic through the carrier, it restores its own backup made during the upgrade process.

 

An upgrade or OS load using an autoloader file will remove all settings, preferences, etc. and give you basically a new factory fresh device.

I did notice that neither of my OS 10.2.1.3247 nor software version 10.2.1.2977 were listed. Which file should I be downloading (my model# is SQN 100-1)?

I was just getting ready to follow these instructions when I noticed the link provided was for 10.2.1.3253 for the SQN-100, my device is 10.2.1.3247 for the SQN-100.

Does this mean the link provided will work for my OS version too?
