Multiple calendars weirdo on a Q10

Howdy out there!

Device: Q10 (not on 10.2 yet)

VPN setup: connected to a Cisco ASA

ActiveSyncing to an Exchange 2010 via the VPN

--> the VPN slider is set to "On" here.

The user only wants syncing of:

Contacts

Tasks

Calendar

NOT Mail

from the Exchange mailbox.

He/She

HAS set up a Yahoo-account for mail

HAD set up BB-Link with complete syncing to a Windows Laptop (Outlook included I assume). I deactivated all (automatic) syncing. He/She may use BB-Link to copy files to and from the Q10.

I see/have two accounts to setup:

1. "Work Connection"

2. "Yahoo"

If defining a date in the calender I may choose between THREE different colored "Work Connection"s. Only one of them is synced to Exchange.

I already set up the "default" to the correct one - but you may cohoose one of the others.

Additional Problem:

He/She has to switch from Push to "Timed sync" every now and then, because dates aren't synced to Exchange.

1st Q.: Is there a way to get rid of the two "bogus" entries "Work connection" within the Calendar settings.

2nd Q.: Is VPN on within the ActiveSync-Setting neccessary, when used with a VPN-tunnel? I saw switched off in some tutorial (don't remember the link just now).

Greetings

Harry
