My Q10 won't add contacts

I have tried to add contacts with my new Q10 and I simply can't get it to save a contact. Yes, I have followed the detailed instructions on the how to...

 

Suggestions to fix would be appreciated.

 

I purchased this from Blackberry via one of their email ads

could you check this in the contact list.

open contacts and tap + at bottom to add new contact.

at the top where it say save to: local contacts,SIM, PC tap that bar and it will open another page. are all the boxes ticked on that page.

 

now try to add a new contact. fill out the usual name and phone number and make sure you press save at the top right.

 

now go into contact list as normal and see if its saved.

 

if its not it could well be that your sim card is full and wont let you save any more to it. if its not that then im sorry but i have no idea what it could be.
