Network Mode versus Network technology

I just updated my BB Q10 to new OS-Release- I discovered that if I restart my device (my mobile data services are switched off) in the Mobile Network menu is available "Network Technology" menu with options: LTE/HSPA+/UMTS/GSM, HSPA+/UMTS/GSM, LTE/HSPA+/UMTS, HSPA+/UMTS, GSM. In case I switch Data Services on, in a while this menu is changed to "Network Mode" with options: 2G, 3G, 2G&3G (without LTE). Previously "Network Technology" menu with LTE is missing. Can anybody explain it why? Are there any criteria/prerequisites to have "Network Technology" menu with LTE options? Maybe is this a problem with my SIM/U-SIM card?
