Q10 bbm and skype, tango

Hi, I just acquired a Q10 . it doesnt allow me to use the bbm.

it says the associated email address i give is incorrect or temporary error of server??

 also i am unable to download skype or tango to it?

can aomeone pls help?

Welcome to the support community!

This KB article may help you out with the error you're receiving in BBM. "Temporary Server Error" or "There is no BBM account associated with this email address" is displayed when attempting to move an existing BBM account to the BlackBerry 10 smartphone. http://blackberry.com/btsc/KB33652
Could you please tell me the full error message you receive in BlackBerry World when trying to download applications?

hi, thanks.

somehow it has finally allowed me to download the bbm.

skype also working now.

 

but when i try www.tango.me or www.viber.com (in google pages are ok), it says "no results found".

 

on a separate note:

i managed to  set up all my local email accounts.

but the one associated to a hk company on microsoft exchange does not work.

i got all the data, and in settings it is still asking me for a port. the hk internet server says you do not need a port on microsoft exchange.

Hey daz007,

Glad to hear it.  Are you having the browser issue for all webpage addresses or the two you provided only?
Can you please try validating your email account using the steps outlined here and let me know the results? "How to use the Email Account Validation Tool (EAVT)" http://blackberry.com/btsc/KB33444

hi,

 

im only having problems with those web page addresses.

 

EAVT didnt work because again it asks for ports and the HK server said the microsoft exhange a/c doesnt require ports.

Hey daz007,

In regards to the two websites that you are having an issue with, I am only able to assist with the installation of applications from BlackBerry World and not from 3rd party websites.

Regarding your email account, since you are unable to validate your account using the EAVT tool, I suggest contacting your mail server administrator to verify your account information.

The other apps your going to have to side-load them but may not work properly you can do quick Google search on "sideloading android apps"
