Q10 email problem

One of the MOST annoying items that changed in BB10 is the inability to delete an email on my phone only and NOT on my work PC at the same time.  My Bold Touch always gave me the message, "Delete on Handheld Only or Delete on Handheld and PC" (or something like that).  This is very, very, very inconvenient for managing my email.  Has anyone found a work around on this?

By email on your work PC, I assume you mean corporate email. 

 

Are you connecting via straight-up ActiveSync, or do you have a BES10 system?

I am connecting through ActiveSync. I do not believe I have a BES10 system (honestly, I am not even sure I know exactly what that means but I assume you mean a BB enterprise system?).  I called BB and they said that an enterprise system would not help.  The phone controls this and it does not have the ability to manage the deletion like the Bold touch.
