Q10 mails not syncing longer then 3 Days

I've been trying to get my Q10 to sync mails longer then 3 days but each time I make a change, the device automatically sets it back to 3 days.  How can I solve this?  Many thanks in advance.

I'm using a Q10 with the latest OS installed.

hi, I tried multiple times to delete and reinstall the mailbox as in the other thread but it keeps putting the days back to 3 days.  I even wiped the phone and redid it and it still keeps on putting the days at 3.  Sorry, didn't work. Do you have another suggestion I could try?

What email service are you using?

It may be a policy in the server. You might check with your IT dept.

Ok, will do.  I'll let you know.  When I try to put it on 14/30 days it gives me the following error message now: 'Error in RPC transaction with Service is shutting down'

 

If I put sync on always it just closes the screen and puts it back to 3 days.

Thanks.  My IT dept confirmed it's a corporate decision not to sync longer then 3 days.
