Q10 message validity

Hi,

 

Could someone help me to find the option to update messages, text and mail, validity duration ( endless or number of days)

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

If the email account was integrated as EAS, then it's in the Advanced settings on the Accounts screen. If the email account was integrated as IMAP, then the selection is available only at the time of account integration and cannot be edited later.

Will this configuration have an effect on text messages too?

I'll check as soon I'll have access to the smartphone ( I am not the owner) .

No it will not. In legacy BBs, there was one "Messages" database that contained all messages from all conduits, and the single setting affected them all. With BB10, each conduit has it's own configuration settings, so what you set for one email account will affect nothing else (not even other email accounts).
