I've been having this issue for over a week, my service provider has not been able to figureit out and sent a new device, and I am still having the same problem.
When I connect my Q10 to link viva USB, it shows as "Disconnected", and does not give me an option or any way to connect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled link, and still nothing.

Are using the latest version of blackberry link 22.214.171.124?
Verify that no storage mode is active on the Q10
As this asset is not an option to sync via wifi Blackberry.

Go to settings, then access and storage
Enter and verify that the option is not activated via Wi-Fi access and also mass storage.

Do you have any active VPN running at the same time? Disconnect from it and try to connect again.
