Here is the scenario:
I have a brand new Q10. I do not have many apps installed other than those that come with the phone. I can mention Skype, Webex and Tune In, as apps that use sound/video, but they are not frequently used.
My OS release is 10.1.0.4181.
I run my music player (the original one that comes with BB) and if either take a picture, receive a BBM video call or any phone call, later on my music player can no longer play anything. I can only solve that by rebooting, which is obviously very inconvenient.

Please backup your device as shown here: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33526
Then complete a reload of the device software as listed here:
Open BlackBerry Link.
Ensure the computer is connected to the Internet.
Power off the BlackBerry 10 smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
Connect the device to the computer.
When the device button is available on the bottom of the BlackBerry Link window, click it.
Click the Reload button.
Test to confirm whether or not these steps resolve the issue. If not, please contact your point of purchase for options.
