Returned the Q10

Going back to my Curve. AT&T offers zero support for the Q10. Nobody at their help 800 number knows anything about BB. No links to a manual so I could work my way through the problems. After 7 frustrating days I sent it back. I want my track ball and a keyboard and a good screen so I can see the web pages. As for a touch screen, its not worth the frustration.

Re: Returned the Q10

Jim1939, sorry you're frustrated.

The manuals are linked above, top of this #Q10 forum. AT&T does support the #Q10 and any issue they can't resolve you should ask to be escalated for free to BlackBerry technical support. They will do that. Web sites in the #Q10 are so superior but I am afraid the track ball was abandoned several years ago and the track pad as well on all #BlackBerry10 models.

Good luck.

Re: Returned the Q10

AT&T isn't supporting the BB customers. If you don't want an I pad or I pad wannabe, they don't have time for you. If they don't want to support BB, then their site should route you to BB when you need help. This would have been my third BB phone and I have been waiting 6 months after my contract expired for the Q10.

Re: Returned the Q10

Yes AT&T is supporting BlackBerry.
Whoever you spoke with was either lying to you or flat out stupid. You have a signed contract with AT&T to provide the support. Hold them to it.

Re: Returned the Q10

I think that I will wait a while and let the dust settle. Tired of being a pioneer with the arrows in my behind. Eventually AT&T will get into the Q10 business or get out. And by that time all the bugs will be flushed out and hopefully fixed.

Re: Returned the Q10

AT&T is in the #Q10 business whether you think they are or not. They're in. Period.

You probably got some minimum wage untrained rep on the phone.

Did you find the manuals?

Re: Returned the Q10

I really don't understand why you wouldn't be complaining to AT&T for literally lying to you.

But that is your choice. I've answered your inquiry here. Good luck.

Re: Returned the Q10

When I complained at the local AT&T store and threaten to go next door to Verizon, they said go ahead. In the DFW area, AT&T has everything tied up and they don't care. Thanks for your shoulder to vent on.
