SMS Text

When typing an SMS text I often wish to separate my message with a new paragraph. With my old BB I simply used the "ENTER" key.

On my new Q10, when pressing the "ENTER" key, the SMS is sent.

Any tricks ?

Re: SMS Text

Yes, there is a trick.

This was driving me crazy, as well, so I am doing this:

- if responding - delete the recipients

- if writing a new one, do not enter recipients

- type the message as you would have on eht bold - Return will give you a new line, not send the sms.

- when done, enter the recipients and send

as everything with the Q10 - much more combersome than the 9900, but.. with a little effort, you can find a way to work around the iPod like features

There is another workaround:

Press <alt>+<left-shift> (this will switch your keyboard to "Num Lock" mode).

Now press <enter>, this will insert a linefeed in your SMS.

To exit the "Num Lock" mode, just press <alt>.
