I recently upgraded/switched from a Bold 9700 (OS 6) to a New BB Q10 (BB 10 OS). For each person in Contacts on my Bold 9700, I had the attribute 'Pager' set and it contained a 10-digit phone number. From Contacts, I could hit the Menu key > Text 'Person' > SMS Text which number? 'Select Pager attribute'. I did this because Text msgs do Not go through when using a number programmed with the *82 prefix. After Device Switch, in my New Q10 there are attributes labeled 'Text Mobile' (contains the phn number prefixed w/*82) and 'Pager - Home' (contains just the 10-digit phn number) for the entries in Contacts. No matter what I've tried, I cannot create a New Text message using the 'Pager - Home' attribute. It's not practical to Manually type in the 10-digit number each time I need to Text someone! Any suggestion(s)/help is Greatly appreciated. Thanks Community.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
What version of BlackBerry 10 software are you currently running? Go to Settings>About to find this information. Also does this affect all of the contacts that have a pager number inputted in the contact?
I look forward to your reply.

My BB Q10 is running v10.1.0.4189. 'Yes', the issue affects ALL Contacts that have the 'Pager' attribute that came over from my previous BB Bold 9700 (OS 6.0). Thanks.
