Setting up of Work Account on Q10 and BBM privacy

I am contemplating setting up a work account on my Q10 [using BlackBerry Enterprise].

I have a query as to what happens to BBM if I were to set up the work account. Do the BBM data / messages become part of the organisation's data base and do I lose the privacy of my personal messages sent and received through BBM.

I would appreciate getting a response here.

Thanks.

Re: Setting up of Work Account on Q10 and BBM privacy

if its using Balance then its kept to the personal side which is used for Bring Your Own Device

if using regulated then they have lots of control not usually for BYOD

Knottyrope.

So I would need the administrator to clarify whether it's Balanced or Regulated?

Technically, what would I need to ask the administrator? And as a non IT savvy person, how would I know if the setup is 'Balanced' or 'Regulated'?

Thanks.
