During the software update, appeared error message (something with the server), so I rebooted the device software using the BlackBerry Link.
Now the phone does not recognize any SIM card.
Not even enough to ask for the PIN code.
Works with all other features.

Make sure you have a decent mobile signal and wifi on at the same time when starting up. I had a very similar problem but this worked. Worth a go.
