Water Damage INSULT

Hi, I have been a long time BlackBerry user.One morning my Q10 screen wouldn't turn on.
I went back to my phone carrier, they sent it to Blackberry.

After a couple of days I checked the status of the reparation..

They tell me there has been a water damage,and they tried to contact me concerning this matter.

My phone is always on starting at 7:30 am until midnight.I have a loaner phone, and I never got any calls from them.

Concerning my phone.. I have a case, a screen protector and I take care of my phone like my baby.

They are INSULTING me by claiming that this water damage (obviously) voids the warranty.

We (customers) are trapped in a case where we are unable to prove our good faith and we're manufacturers will throw any reason not to fix a malfunctioning device.

I am really upset, I would love to get some proofs regarding this issue as I feel I am betrayed by a company I used to support.

Who's in charge of customer complains?

Making a case to support your claim of no wrongdoing is going to be tough. I take my phone out in the rain, I wipe water from it almost daily, it's in the steamy bathroom as I shower and I have no problems. You carry your encased phone down the street and it's like you dropped it in a river. It's not fair and there's nothing we can do to change that.

I chimed in mostly to say that BlackBerry is not hiding behind anyone. We do this voluntarily because we enjoy helping out but BlackBerry has a formal support model in place which includes your carrier who can escalate your issue to BlackBerry for resolution if necessary. Unfortunately in your case, no escalation will take place but please be aware that formal support is available.
