Re: Why I'm giving up my Q10 to go back to the Bold 9900

So I would hold my phone in one hand, and be able to do the gestures with my thumb?

Yes. That is what the the gestures were designed for. That said it's better to be right handed.

Yes, and most normal sized hands can hold thte device AND use the gestures with the thumb, using only one hand. I do it all the time.

You should pick one up a store and play with it. The Q10 is not that tall in height.

Re: Why I'm giving up my Q10 to go back to the Bold 9900

Hi Robert,

I have had Blackberry mobile devices since the day they were introducved - Ive owned various Curves, Pearls and Bolds but the Q10 is by far the worst phone I have ever had the misfortune to experience !

It has totally lost any feel of being a Blackberry and the user interface is so unfriendly it is truly painful.

I have spent, ney wasted, an unbelievable number of hours trying to work out how it works but alas all I feel like doing now is smashing it with a hammer !

It has totally destroyed my enthusiasm for Blackberry and all I want to do now ia to return to a 9300 or similar.

Email is hidden away in a mess of useless icons and comes under a stupid area known as BB Hub ?!

Re: Why I'm giving up my Q10 to go back to the Bold 9900

Everyone goes in thinking it's an upgraded 9900. It's not. It's a BB10 device with a keyboard.

Re: Why I'm giving up my Q10 to go back to the Bold 9900

For the first time in our Blackberry Market(UAE), the Bold9900 cost more to own at 1650 aed, and the Q10 at 1600 aed(both phones priced at the same store of a well known chain)......There is more Demand for the 9900 over the Q10 which is keeping the 9900 price holding up and the Q10 price falling sharply over about 1 year...Anyone following this trend?

augusts, "Smth arnd" what language is this?

keithfowleruk, multiple icons to your email? One swipe to the Hub works. Or use the Hub icon for direct access.
If you truly intend to smash it with a hammer, I'll give you $50 USD for it, unharmed.
