how to remove facebook updates

Hi guys I wanted to ask how can I remove the updates that fb has in the home screen when I press the power button

on home screen scroll screen from left to right > tap bottom right 3 dot icon > bottom option select more > tap each facebook message you want to delete so it highlights in blue > when all selected tap rubish bin > select delete > done.

Go to Settings > Display > Lock Screen Notifications

Set this to "Off"
