I just bought the Q10 the other day and ditched my Bold 9780.
On the Bold 9780 it would sync the "other" phone number field with Outlook and vice versa, but when i setup my email syncing on my Q10 the "other" numbers didn't show up for any of my contacts. However, I did notice that "other" is an option when you add a number for a new contact or edit one.
It's odd that there is an "other" option for contact numbers, but it won't sync like it did on the Bold.
I did a test and created a new contact on my Q10 and put a number in the "other" field, then when i go to Outlook, it goes to the "radio" field...so annoying! I have quite a few contacts in outlook for who I entered 2nd numbers into the "other" field

I have an update regarding this issue, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol currently does not support synchronizing with the "Other" field, for more information and resolution please review the following article:

I notice this was brought up all the way back in 8/2013. Is there a fix or an update with softwae to correct this issue as of yet. Very frustrating when it works on other devices, but doesnt work here?
