BIS on Q5??

Hi,

 

I need to know if service provider specific id such as {REMOVED} will work on Q5. At present I am using bold 3 - 9780.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

BB10 does not use BIS. It is reported that on some carriers you can leave your BIS account in place and attached to your BB10 device with no troubles (though you receive none of the benefits e.g., no data compression). It is also reported that on some carriers having BIS in place on a BB10 device will actually prevent proper functionality. Which applies to your carrier, only they can say.
