I have a blackberry ID registered with my gmail account, and now suddenly with my new Q5, it won't recognise my email account and tells me to "enter a valid email address"
So without email and blackberry ID related apps, an old Nokia seems to be better than my q5 at least I get to play snake

Hopefully, this information will be of use to you. Given your situation, I suspect you cannot get past this without human intervention (which is discussed in that post)...all of the automated recovery methods require either the correct security question response or that the BBID already have been validated, which is the step you are actually now on. Hence, I doubt that the automated recovery methods will work for you.

Thanks for the sticky post, however, its not what I am encountering
I don't need to reset password or have my bb ID blocked, I need to log in
and this new phone is refusing to recognise any of the email I input
(I have two bb ID one for work and one for personal bb) and none of the email is been recognised by my new devise.
So I tried other emails (just to see if it's a gmail based thing) but it wouldn't recognise any email address ...
