Can't start up Q5 after shutdown

I went to re-start my brand new Q5 to update the carrier information and held down the power button for 5-6 seconds. Since then, I have not been able to start the device at all. I have swiped, held down the power button for 1, 3, 5 & 10+ seconds, but nothing is working. The battery is 1/2 full, so not an issue. Normally I would pull the battery, but can't do that on the new Q5. 


Any assistance would be helpful.

Some people have found putting the battery back in while the charger is connected or while link is running to work.

Was the phone doing anything at the time you rebooted (i.e updating, shutting down, etc.)

The Q5 does not have a removable battery.

 

Do this, connect to a wall outlet charger and then press the power button a few seconds and see if you get ANY LED activity.

 

If not, try pressing and holding BOTH the up and down volume keys for 20 seconds. Do this while connected to the wall outlet charger.

Tried both. First option did not produce any LED, so tried the second option and no LED either. No re-start...

Let it charge with the wall outlet charger, 2-3 hours, and try it again, both methods as described above.

Thanks for the advise. Just charged for 2 hrs (have to leave work now) and tried both options. Neither worked. Will bring phone home and charge for 3+hrs and try again.

Why 209 seconds? 3 minutes, 29 seconds seems an odd #. What is that supposed to do, reset it?

Any other suggestions are appreciated!
