My device is Blackberry Q5, OS is 10.2.1.2977,
and the language is simplified Chinese.
For example, I stored a contact on my device with
his/her phone number 150-1111-2222, when
he/she call me or text me, the number might be
+86-150-1111-2222, and his/her name will not
Why not just store it with the +86 prefix ?
Because the +86 prefix not appears everytime,
it depends. store every phone number in two
form ? I have over two hundred contacts it
will take a lot of time to do this, and I
think is not a good way.
I am an old BlackBerry user, I have several
old BlackBerry devices, and the old devices
do not have such problem.
I checked, OS 10.2.1.2977 is up to date,
so this problem is not solved.

I certainly know +86 is country code.
But you just don't get the point, or I'm just not being clear.
Call someone is never a problem, because whatever you
add +86 prefix or not, the calling will be OK.
The problem is when someone call you, his/her name
will not be displayed, there is just a number, so you have
no idea who is this.
The old BlackBerry devices (8520, 9000, 9700 ect.) could
deal with this, whatever +86 or other prefix appears in the
number, contact's name will be displayed correctly.
So, to this day,
A new BlackBerry device do NOT know +86 is a country code,
How do you call it a SMART-PHONE ?
