New BlackBerry Q5 shut down issue; can't restart !?

It's been only 14 hours, I bought a Q5, while setting up the email accounts, the phone turn itself off. I couldn't restart the phone.

 

I'm not sure but it's related to hardware or istalled OS, I guess.

 

Can someone help me to find the reason and how to trobleshoot the BlackBerry Q5
.

What is the status if your Q5 at this point?

The phone is almost dead; it was showing the battery was empty and when plugging to charge battery for next 4 hours. No result !

 

I asked @BlackBerryHelp [most active to support consumers] to give an idea to troubleshoot the issue, they replied to follow them on twitter. I did, still no response till this time; they are still busy to promoting BlackBerry and offering tips and tricks. check here: @devashishbiswas;

 

Sounds Weird... At least to me!?

 

Then I went to the blackberry outlet and asked them to replace it, Now I have to wait till tomorrow to get a new device according to their procedure, only if blackberry would not be able to resolve the issue.

Do this... I didn't know the batter was dead or almost dead.

 

Connect it to the wall outlet charger. Let it charge a few hours.

Then, STILL connected to the wall outlet charger, press the power button on top of the device.

What happens... any screen or LED activity?

 

If none, then press and hold the UP and DOWN volume keys simultaneously for about 15 seconds.

Anything?

 

If not, leave to charge longer and try both process above.

Even I dint, I charged the mobile battery soon after I purchased and when it came to 50%, sudden shut itself. 

 

I went through the Q5 related forums, I charged it for next 4 -  5 hours through the charger. The phone restarted couple of times, but when phone rang it went to previous mode.

 

LED: While charging, rarely I seen the yellow / green light.

 

When tried to restart, found red led was active, as the phone is trying to restart, but failing each time.

 

Anyway, gave up and left to the blcakberry outlet, still waiting to get back my phone.

Finally, the outlet management replaced the device.

 

Charged the battery for 4 hours and now I'm updating the OS and other supporting applications and softwares, which would avoid future issue; 

 

Hope I won't get any issue in this new blackberry Q5 phone.
