Bought my Q5 last week and configured my Hotmail account. It worked flawlessly at first.
Yesterday, noticed that my hotmail folders were not present on device, so went to the accounts settings to sync all folders on device.
Later yesterday, received an unimportant message, and tried to delete it. device would not let me delete the message (contrary to usual). I then decided to reboot the device. After reboot, message was still there, and still could'nt delete, so I went directly on my account on my pc to try and delete from there...
My surprise: The email was not on the account, and all emails from these folders have been completely deleted, and could not be retrieved from the undelete function in the deleted account:
-All my created folders
The only exceptions are messages from
They are still present.
On my device, all emails are still there intact, but not on account... ?!?
Is there a configuration setting in the device account that uploads emails to device and deletes from hotmail account? Could not find it...
What are the options for syncing from device without risking losing all my messages from 2010 and up?
Did a save from blackberry link, but unsure if this application saves all messages like old desktop application did, so I'm a bit scared of doing something and deleting my messages permanently...
Anyone has a suggestion?
Thanks in advance!
