Using BlackBerry Protect

Hi I was wondering if the data services have to be turned on on the BlackBerry Q5 in order to be able to perform gps location, phone lock, message dispplay. and turning on sound from balckberry protect.

I tried in one place where there was no wifi and placed the phone by the window and there was no communication

Thank you kindlly

Re: Using BlackBerry Protect

The phone must be connected to a Mobile Network. No network connection, no data from BlackBerry Protect.
